Aim:

During our studies in Hatay, it was determined that agricultural production, especially in districts with small agricultural lands, could not be adequately mechanized, rental services came to the fore, the farmers could not obtain the desired efficiency in their production due to the machinery and equipment they needed while performing their agricultural production activities but could not acquire due to high costs.

As a result of the survey studies and researches, it was revealed that only 47% of the farmers in Hatay rented and/or shared their machines. At the same time, as seen in the field studies, in many regions of Hatay, farmers rent some products for their various products.

Farmers show tendencies like

  • They are under a high financial burden (Purchase)
  • Renting at high prices
  • Giving up production or turning to other productions due to the need for machinery

Aim:

This unit has been designed as a unit that evaluates the investments throughout Hatay, informs, guides, and supports individual and institutional investors, primarily cooperatives, about possible opportunities for deficiencies and areas that need to be invested.

Regarding the missing areas that are likely to support rural development especially for cooperatives and investor business people and entrepreneurs; It will be operated as a structure that

Aim:

In the researches carried out in Hatay, it was determined that the farmers loved their production and had various ideas to improve their production.

These ideas are not only limited to agricultural production but also include ideas and thoughts about making production more value-added.

For this reason, it is aimed to add value to agricultural and food products in the Open Innovation Center Hatay, where the processes are defined for the evaluation of all ideas together and the commercialization of the ones that can be implemented by establishing the Agriculture and Food Open Innovation Center in order not to let ideas get lost.

In addition, it is a bitter truth that the vast ancient knowledge of the farmer is lost, especially as new generations move away from agricultural production and village life. It is also aimed to record valuable information from generations, to benefit from this information by their peers, and to be used by future generations.
